Local Storage Only: Any configuration, settings, or API keys (such as those for Anthropic or OpenAI) you provide are stored securely on your local device using the browser's chrome.storage.local mechanism.
No Third-Party Transmission: Your API keys and configuration data never leave your device. The extension only sends your requests directly to the official AI provider endpoints (e.g., api.anthropic.com or api.openai.com) to generate summaries. We do not intercept, route, or proxy your requests through any intermediate servers.
Telemetry and Analytics
Zero Telemetry: AI Page Summarizer does not collect, track, or transmit any usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data. We do not track which pages you visit or what content you summarize.
